Dermaplaning is the controlled scraping of the skin using a sterile, surgical blade held at a 45-degree angle to remove keratinized cells on the outer layer of the stratum corneum.  It also removes fine vellus hair, also known as “peach fuzz”.

Dermaplaning immediately rejuvenates the skin by removing the outermost layer of dead skin cells (stratum corneum), and vellus hair this helps aid the penetration of active ingredients used within this treatment and from homecare products.

This treatment also helps to minimise the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and acne scarring. It also creates the perfect canvas for makeup application making this the go-to facial for any high-profile occasion. This treatment will be finished off with a renew+repair mild peel to ensure we achieve the best results possible from your treatment.

Dermaplaning is suitable for most clients. However, it is best avoided if you are using or have used Accutane or Isotretinoin within the last 12 months.
